| Franz Josef is a massive glacier, our hike took 8hrs, up, round, down and slipping down the glacier, it was wicked but very tiring. We also had to use crampons which I have never used before! |

| There were a 100 dusky dolphins in the pod we were following. For well over an hour we watched in amazement as they performed acrobatics in the water. They were amazing, It really was incredible. |

| guides are nice, friendly and interesting. Thermal area is good a good walk, and Maori Village is welcoming. |

| We saw an enormous labyrinth of glow worms "Arachnocampa luminosa" all hanging from the cave roof. They light up the entire cave so much so It´s even possible to see their tiny woven webs. |

| This free attraction is a ´must-see´ and it is easy to spend 3 hours here with all the interactive exhibits. We learnt all about the Maori culture & art, the people and land of Nz. We visited the natural disaster zone and even experienced an earthquake! |
